Pretty neat picture. My daughter Olivia likes to ask me if she can take pictures with my camera. I’m currently using it to document a technical write-up on some of the work I’ve done with the car and I had her out helping me. While working to align the brake calipers on the car and tighten the parking brake and she asked, “Dad can I take your picture!?”
I’d say she did pretty good even with the assistance of the tripod. She did move it around to where it got this shot.
I don’t normally end up in pictures, because I’m usually the one taking them. But this is one I’ll keep.

That is so cute. Also a nice shot too. Reading “But this is one I’ll keep” evoked an “awwwwww” reaction in me. I don’t know why.

Great photo and story! :)
Also, it’s always interesting to be able to put a face to a name.

Nice that you set your kid up to wrench. I haven’t owned a car since 2001 (Steve in MANHATTAN) and haven’t seriously wrenched since the early 90s. An ex who was an associate service manager at a Mercedes dealership got me time with a lift. You cannot appreciate how great it is to get under the car.

That’s actually a very well framed shot. Subject slightly off center, good lighting, very well done!
Also, those are some huge dents over the rear wheel area. What happened there?

Good work papa. You’re a good photo subject but you’re killing it when it comes to being a good dad. A+

Dealership loaned a truck to uninsured motorist and they backed into me in a parking lot. Both told me to pound sand afterwards.
Pushed the dent out, will have it repaired once I have the whole car repainted, but that’ll be a little while. Have owned this wee beastie since 2002!
